This is an interesting route that goes from Pla de Sant Llorenç of Llagostera and Ridaura basin to Can Tallades, Solius dump and Roca Ponsa. It’s a fantastic path that crosses different rocky places with a breathtaking view of Vall d’Aro. This path leads to a dirt track that we have to follow on the right side, and go down later to Santa Elena or Monges fountain, which is placed in a hollow of Gatellar valley, near Can Dalmau mas. Apart from the fountain that is dry, we’ll find different banks and a stone table. Not so long ago, it was a charming shady spot. It would be good to make its water run again and keep the place clean and well-signposted. Once this old fountain is arranged and runs again, we believe that it should be used as a benchmark for all the hikers that wander among the Solius Monastery and Castle and the wonderful Roca Ponça. These spots are extraordinary and ideal for hiking.
